Product Design December 11, 2009 Mr. John Derbyshire (High Peak UK) The inflator does its job but very slowly. To inflate a car tyre from 27psi to 32 psi takes about 5 minutes.
A switch in the cable near the inflator would be very helpful otherwise you have to keep running round the car to switch the engine on or off
12v Inflator September 26, 2009 R. F. Culverhouse (Portsmouth) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The product has a pressure guage that didn't register very readilly and only the first ten percent of the scale was of any use - 300psi not relevent to my car tyres. It has only very limited power and takes forever to increase pressure ia a tyre from say 15 to 30psi. The only good thing you can say about it is it's cheap - but as it doesn't really work it's a waste of your money.
Very handy equipment July 11, 2009 J. V. Chelleth (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Its very noisy, but is a very handy kit to have with you. Works slowly, but does the job well. I have only tried it on my Bike so far, and the car tyre might take much longer to fill.
At under £10, its worth the money...
Okay for the price January 17, 2008 Graham Cobley (Hinckley, UK) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
I paid £5 plus packing, and that reflects the quality of the item.
It certainly pumps okay, and I didn't have any problem with smells like a previous reviewer.
However, the pressure gauge is totally useless and cannot be relied upon. When I checked the pressures I found they were 50% higher than the gauge showed!
nice but smelling badly August 29, 2007 Mr. P. Tumik (Los Angeles, USA) 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
Nice inflator. Working good. Very compact. Have different needles, so suitable not only for tires. Doesn't have on/off button, so as soon as you connect it to car lighter it will start to pump air.
and also, smells very badly. It smells of some toxic plastic. But after two weeks it's not smelling anymore, so, only first few weeks.
Very good for that money. I bought it from Amazon for about £6 I think.
