TWO SIDES (UK)
xmas gift years ago for youngest, she adored it. The only trouble is the rotten eye kept falling of & I was the only one? who could fix it. Grandson now enjoys it.(age 7)
LOOKS GOOD BUT IS BORING February 28, 2009

Looks very good and is sturdy. The phrases it says are limited so it gets boring after a while. Does work on the carpet as well as tiles, not used it outdoors. The Dalek noises are very realistic and my 9 year old daughter loves it.

I bought the 12" Dalec Sec to add to my collection and he really is finished better and sounds better than the gold Dalek I have. I have to agree with what a lot of other reviewers have said, the blue illuminated eye is really eerie and my favourite phrase is "No other warning will be given".
Considering I remember the Daleks from the 60's, I really should find something better to do with my life, but these guys really are something.

OK, so it wasn't under my control, it was under the control of my 8 year old son who is Who Mad (like the rest of us). He spent most of Xmas Exterminating everyone or carefully parking it out of harms way. Lights & plunger all detach so it isn't trashed after a knock (although plunger is a bit tricky to re-attach). Movement is great because it spins and remote control is excellent with the array of Sound FX and Nice and easy to control.
Overall - Best buy and most successful present of the year.

I have a son and daughter,this toy was bought for my son but as soon as it appears, son, daughter, husband and me are all drawn inexerably toward's it ,we all want to have a go.
A real joy to behold so much detail, it moves well and it's voice is spot on.
One draw back, it's delicate, handle with care.
Over all brilliant just wish I'd bought two, one for each child or maybe three cause my husband loves it ,when the children are asleep and he's had a beer, up he goes and sneek's it downstairs to have a go.
