These are good fun on a dark night with not much wind. Float straight up then go across the sky like a hot air balloon. The kids watched them until they had gone so far you could hardly see them. Easy to use as long as you open them up properly and hold them til they're ready to rise up out of your grip, you will feel them trying to go, then let go and they are off.. Would recomend for a good night in the garden..

Delivery of the lanterns could not be faulted. They arrived exactly when expected. Unfortunately, their performance did not match this excellence. The first two lanterns that we launched flew for only a couple of minutes and less than 100 yards. To get acceptable performance, we had to "supercharge" the lanterns with BBQ lighting gel. This greatly enhanced the flight length and time to an acceptable level. This should not be necessary on a publically marketed item. I am rather dubious as to whether these lanterns come under the heading of "fit for purpose".

Bought as a birthday present for use at a BBQ party and they were enjoyed by all. Easy to assemble and light. It was a clear night and they appeared to drifted for ages.

I would not know what this item is like as I never received it. I think this has helped me to realise that if something is bargain it may well be for a reason. I e-mailed after not receiving the item and was sent a response over a week after my initial e-mail saying a new one would be sent out. Guess what, item did not arrive again. Emailed again and no response.... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
